dear riddhi,
now the time has come when all you 1st year students will realize how much unnecessary burden was given to us in our boards. we had just SOMEWHAT THICK TEXTBOOKS which we were told to by-heart cuz the paper was drawn from those same SOMEWHAT THICK TEXTBOOKS.
while in college you will have all sorts of REALLY THICK REFERENCE BOOKS. you'll have to just go through the content and understand it cuz nobody knows from which of these REALLY THICK REFERENCE BOOKS shall the paper be drawn.
but don't you worry, cuz it will be easier and fun. you'll enjoy the real learning process cuz by-hearting things will not be useful from now on. you might feel a bit awkward in the beginning after looking at the size of your reference books, but there's no reason to worry, cuz once you've cleared your concepts, such lenghty books will never bother you.
so from now on, strive to understand rather than by-hearting things. if you don't understand something, not a big deal, get your doubts solved from the faculty.
and well if you were to ask your seniors, i'm pretty sure that about 100% of them will say the same thing.
and always remember, for an engineering student, nothing is impossible..
feel free to contact us for any sort of help.
good luck..
regards
